Laser eye surgery Turkey
iLASIK is the best and safest procedure that will help you to have a happy life without glasses in the long term. At our clinic, we use the technology to correct your visual defect with iLASIK, which is the only one certified by NASA as a permitted laser correction for its pilots. Due to the high quality of our technical equipment and our professional team, many specialist colleagues, doctors, athletes and artists are among our satisfied customers.

iLASIK – what exactly is it?
With iLASIK you trust in the method with the shortest possible healing process. Most clients return to their daily lives within 12 hours of the procedure.

The principle of the iLASIK procedure is based on the interaction of two lasers. The first, the femtosecond laser Johnson & Johnson IFS Advanced Femtosecond Laser, forms a lamella on the surface of the eye, the so-called flap. The second laser, the VISX STAR S4 IR excimer laser, is then used under this cover plate to remove the diopters. The precision of this laser method enables you to view the surroundings without glasses and almost painlessly just a few minutes after the operation.

The procedure
Each eye is unique and has countless other small individual variations. Therefore, every procedure should be tailor-made and be based exactly on the detailed characteristics and deviations of the eye.

No matter whether nearsightedness, farsightedness or astigmatism (cylinder) – your visual defect is gently and completely removed. This is done on the basis of a so-called digital 3D map (WaveScan) of your visual defect. This detailed 3D map is created during your individual preliminary examination. It contains all the information about the curvature of your cornea, irregularities and the presence of dioptric errors (lower and higher degrees). On the basis of this data, which is transmitted directly to the laser devices, we can adapt the eye surgery exactly to the needs of your eye, so that you can see as clearly and as clearly as possible after the operation.

Preliminary examination
First you undergo a complex preliminary examination. The aim of this is to obtain the most individual details and information about your eyes as well as about your habits, hobbies and activities. On the basis of these results, our specialists will recommend the best and safest treatment option as well as the next steps.
Please note that you are not allowed to wear contact lenses for at least two weeks before the examination in the laser center of the NSL Health Eye Clinic in order to avoid distorting the very sensitive tests.

The examination itself takes about two hours and includes a visual acuity test, measurement of intraocular pressure, examination of the anterior segment of the eye (cornea, iris, lens) and the fundus. At the same time, you will complete some special examinations, which will enable us to determine the exact amount of your dioptric error. All of our patients are examined using the latest technology. The consequences of this examination, such as impaired close vision or the inability to focus, resolve spontaneously within 3 to 4 hours. For this reason, however, we recommend that you do not drive to us alone for this examination.

The operational sequence
The actual surgical procedure is completely painless and usually takes less than 15 minutes. It is performed under local anesthesia with the patient fully conscious. The Femto LASIK and iLASIK procedures are completely painless and allow you to return to everyday life just 12 hours after the procedure.

The iLASIK procedure corrects diopters and astigmatism with the help of a femtosecond and an excimer laser. In order to be able to correct your diopter error, a corneal lamella, the so-called “flap”, must first be formed. Older methods use a vibrating blade or other contact methods to form the flap. An iLASIK procedure, on the other hand, creates the flap thanks to the patented IntraLase without touching your eye.
